Strategy and Planning Intern

Five°degrees is a Amsterdam-based Fintech, currently developing a cloud-native core banking platform to create banking as it should be. We combine state-of-the-art technology and sound financial knowledge to create unique digital solutions for today’s banks and for people who like banking to be quick and easy.  

With 150+ employees in Amsterdam, Lisbon, Reykjavik, Frankfurt and Serbia, we have a broad spectrum of different cultures and are growing.  

Our mission is to provide banks and financial service providers with a way to bridge the gap between the old and the new world by adopting digitization and automation. We achieve this by offering a cloud native core banking platform. 

THE JOB 

The position, either as an Intern for at least 3 fixed days per week and a minimum of 5 months. 

Directly reporting to the COO, you will be the right hand in all organizational and operational management. From Steering Committees to creating Presentations for the Management Board, doing research on our competition, Strategy meetings, and managing the Portfolio. Through working together directly with the COO, your internship will cover many important strategic aspects. You will concurrently work together with other employees to achieve the goals set. 

YOU 

• Are at least in your 2nd or 3rd year HBO/WO student 
• Study program includes Management courses (BBA / B sc.) 
• Are living in Amsterdam, or are willing to travel 

• Can start in January/February 
• Are autonomous and can work without supervision 
• Are eager to learn and willing to go the extra mile 
• A true team worker 
• Are Responsible 

• Are Assertive 
• Not shy to bounce back advice and take up an argument 
• Can speak and write Business English 

PRE 

• Basic understanding of Cloud-related business
• An interest in Financial Services and Technology 
• An interest in Innovation 
• Previous relevant work experience 
• Fluent in Dutch
